What if you don’t find anything?

It’s unlikely that we won't find any suitable businesses to view. But if that happens we can extend our contract with you. If we have no luck after an extended period it may be necessary to review your needs in terms of your chosen location, sector or budget. During the search process we will keep you updated via telephone and email.

What happens if I decide not to proceed?

If you sign up for our Find and Buy service and your circumstances change during the search period and you no longer require our services, no additional charges are due. Our final success fee will however still be payable if within 2 years of instructing us you proceed to purchase a business / premises which we have introduced.

What areas do you cover?

Our View and Review service covers the UK. Our Find and Buy service is currently available in the North of England. However if your business search falls outside this area and you are interested in our Find and Buy service, please contact us as we may still be able to help you.

Do you only deal with hospitality businesses?

We have many years of experience in the hospitality sector and this is where we can add the most value to business buyers such as yourself. We cover the whole hospitality industry from hotels and B&Bs to cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, coffee shops, takeaways and delis. However, the hospitality industry is always evolving with new concepts and niches, so please contact us if what you are interested in is not listed here. If you are looking at businesses in other industries we may be able to find you a good contact or point you in the right direction as we have a large professional and business network. Do you deal with freehold and leasehold businesses?

Yes, we deal with both leasehold and freehold business as well as empty premises for the brave entrepreneurs amongst us that like to take on a refurb.

I live overseas. Can you still help?

Yes, of course. We can communicate via telephone, email or skype. Once we have established your search criteria and agreed on a brief we will begin your search and send you all the information you need in order to make an informed decision. This information pack will include a Buyer’s Report with photographs/slideshow - and for an additional charge we can provide a video presentation. However, we would strongly recommend you to view in person before purchasing.

What's in my Buyer’s Report and why do I need one?

The Buyer’s Report is a summary of our search and provides you with key points and recommendations about the businesses you have shortlisted. It will form part of due diligence and will provide you with facts to help you make an informed choice about whether to proceed to purchase. There are other benefits too. It can feed into your business plan to assist with obtaining additional finance required and also form a good starting point for your current and future marketing plans.

What are your marketing consultancy fees?

Our fees start from £25 per hour or £180 for the day, and services include market and competitor analysis, complete marketing proposal and activity schedules including social media and PR. We can help you launch a new business from scratch or help you transition the business during the handover period to minimise any negative effects on long-standing customers - and attract new ones.

Do you handle the purchase monies?

No purchase funds come to us. All funds from deposits to completion fees will be handled by your bank and solicitor, including fees for third-parties such as surveyors and solicitors.

Are you a member of a professional Industry Association?

We are members of the Institute of Hospitality.

How long will a search take?

As all our Find & Buy searches are bespoke, timeframes will depend on market conditions & availability, and your personal requirements. This is normally for a period of 6 months.
